The M.2 Drive Installation process is effortless and tool-less. The user simply needs to press down the lid and push forward simultaneously to remove the top cover, insert the M.2 SATA SSD connector into the slot located at the end of the tray, and slide the adjustable locker to secure the M.2 SATA SSD.

The specialized slimline tray is made with thick aluminum and acts as a heatsink to dissipate heat generated by the M.2 SATA SSD. Additionally, using 3 x OCuLink cables instead of 12 x SATA cables reduces cable clutter and improves the system airflow. The included thermal pad fills the contact surfaces gap and transfers heat away from the M.2 SSD to the huge heatsink tray, allowing airflow to dissipate the heat away efficiently.

Powering up the twelve drives at once can accumulate heat, so we have included a 40mm cooling fan with adjustable 3-Mode fan speed control, providing airflow throughout the entire cage. Depending on your requirement, you can select the proper fan speed to keep the drives at optimal operating temperatures, even under heavy load.

The product is packed with features, including the ability to fit 12 x M.2 SATA SSD of all lengths, 30mm (2230), 42mm (2242), 60mm (2260), 80mm (2280), and 110mm (22110). It can be installed into 1 x standard external 5.25" device bay, power 12 x M.2 SSD through 2 x 15-pin SATA power connectors, and connect 12 x M.2 SSD through 3 x OCuLink (SFF-8612) connectors. The transfer speed can reach up to 6Gb/s per drive and supports a hot-swap feature.
